“We are extremely excited about the immense growth our charter has seen over the past few years,” Jubilee Academies CEO/Director of Schools Tom Koger said. “It is an honor to offer another choice San Antonio parents can make when selecting the school that best fits their child’s educational needs.”
As with all our Jubilee schools, the focus will be leadership, character and excellence. We take outstanding instructors and proven teaching methods and develop innovative and effective ways to help educate the whole child. He began his career as a special education teacher. In addition to his teaching duties, he coached Special Olympics, was recognized for his participation in youth camps and supervised community development events.
After completing his Mid-Management Administrator certification, Mr. Wagner assumed the role of an assistant principal and has served as an administrator for over 12 years at the elementary, middle and high school levels.
With the support of a strong team, Mr. Wagner takes personal responsibility to create opportunities that ensure ambitious results and is honored to be named the founding principal for Jubilee-Westwood. “As the instructional leader, ensuring all students receive the best quality education through active monitoring, research-based instruction and essential staff development, is a task that will be of the utmost importance,” he said. “I have a passion for the teaching profession and with a servant's heart, commit to a long-term tenure at Jubilee-Westwood.”
